Promotions, People, and Pricing Decisions

We are all connected, and it is often a thousand 'little decisions' that make the most impact on the future of our children.

We all understand that dumping oil or paint in the drain pipe at work affects the sewer systems and waterways that support our fish and nourish our crops. Yet people do it daily.

It is more challenging sometimes to think of the positive impact that our decisions can have... instead of getting 'the luxury model' of a new car, people could get a basic model and donate that extra $40,000 to a seniors' centre to support a year's worth of monthly yoga or art instructor classes, 'rescue dog visits' and 'Linking Generations' elementary school kids' matching programs. Those three programs would bring new connections, conversations, smiles, and maybe some annoying but worthwhile messes to people who really need - and deserve - some love and attention.  Or not - you could choose to drive around on leather seats while lining the pockets of car manufactures.

That is how we think when we make people, pricing and promotional decisions for ourselves and our clients.

Spiritlink People

We support people and organizations that align with our values of promoting social responsibility. We will create and publish here profiles of these like-minded people as we develop this website and our Facebook, Twitter, blog, and LinkedIn pages.

We start by thanking Stó:Lö Nation artist and activist, TTara-Lee Gardnerara-Lee Gardner for her help in designing and selling the t-shirts we are selling to promote Orange Shirt Day -Every Child Matters. As Tara-Lee writes on her blog

TaraLee Gardner Jewellery LogoThe chickadees this orange shirt are truth singers and they want to spread the word about Orange Shirt Day. Please help them by sharing this story on Facebook, Twitter or email with the hashtag #OrangeShirtDay

Spiritlink Promotions

We like the idea to be a chickadee! We build flexibility into our marketing plans (and budget) so that when we see an idea or person that aligns with our goals for environmental and social responsibility - while helping us advance our own financial goals for - we act. That's why we collaborated with Tara-Lee to create and sell the t-shirts. We put these orange chickadees to work turning ideas into actions to serve people. Learn more about our promotions, here.
